New in Sage Research Methods

Illustration for the database Sage Research Methods.

The Social Sciences Faculty Library, Sambib, has added content to the large database Sage Research Methods. From January 2025 you will have access to Sage Cases and Sage Foundations, in addition to the already available resources.

Sage Cases

Authentic cases taken from research projects, where the reader can follow how methods were selected and applied. The database is particularly useful when teaching methods’ courses - each case contains clear learning objectives and discussion questions, among other useful tools. Search for cases based on subject area, choice of method or academic level.

Sage Foundations

In this database you will find in-depth introductions to various research methods as well as biographies of key researchers and their work. The database also contains curated series of relevant articles sorted by method. Reading these articles is a good way to begin the work of familiarizing yourself with a certain research method.

You can access all cases and articles by either searching directly in the databases or by searching via LUBsearch. Please note that a VPN i required to access the databases off-campus.

Please feel free to contact Sambib with feedback or suggestions!
